How to calculate volumetric weight?

The volumetric weight of a package is a calculation that reflects the density of a package. A less dense item generally occupies more volume of space, in comparison to its actual weight. The volumetric weight is calculated and compared with the actual weight of the package to ascertain which is greater; the higher weight is used to calculate freight.

Calculate volumetric weight

The calculating method of FedEx, DHL UPS, Aramex and TNT as below:

  Length(cm) *width(cm)*height(cm)/5000=volumetric weight(kg)

The calculating method of AIO air(Malaysia/ Singapore) as below:

  Length(cm)*width(cm)*height(cm)/6000=volumetric weight(kg)

EMS, HK EMS,and air mail do not consider the volume of package into freight.
